Celebrating success

Successful completion of a University of Liverpool online postgraduate degree programme is an achievement to celebrate!

After your months of study, discussion with fellow students, research, and dissertation writing, you are now ready to make your mark on the world as a graduate of a respected Russell Group university.

You will find yourself in good company: more than 4,500 people from over 140 countries have graduated from the University of Liverpool online programmes and 6,500 students are currently studying with the goal of graduation in mind.

Study online - graduate on campus

As a successful University of Liverpool online student you will have the choice of receiving your degree certificate through the post or joining in the graduation ceremony on campus in the city of Liverpool, UK.

Typically, more than 50% per cent of successful online students choose to attend July or December graduation ceremonies, donning caps and gowns to mingle with the on-campus students. In July 2012 we welcomed about 318 online graduates to Liverpool.

Experience your University

For many of our online students, attending the graduation ceremony is the crowning highlight of their student journey, allowing them to meet peers, faculty and to experience first-hand what it’s like to be part of the University of Liverpool.

Meet your network

The University welcomes online graduands with a programme of events culminating in a celebratory evening reception attended by special events including Vice Chancellor, Professor Sir Howard Newby.
